This is the main Jit-Jitsu class at Rally Point. Students learn how to attack and defend using the uniform (Gi) to play more complex guard positions and use the lapels and other grips to their advantage to set up takedowns, guard passes, pins, sweeps or submissions. The uniform also consists of the students belt and is an essential part of the Jit-Jitsu journey for both sport competitions and promotions with in the art of Jit-Jitsu.

We are apart of heroesjiujitsu.org - a free weekly class in training members of State front line services where a higher risk of physical attack may happen. We believe our country's service men and women or anyone employed in a state emergency response role should have the very best of training. We offer a specialised program in teaching how to safely control a person with minimum damage to all.

We have so far trained current or ex members of Irish military, US military, UK military, Gardai, Fire Service and Airport Police/Fire, from regular units to more elite roles right up to Special Forces.

These classes are walk in and friendly but proof of service is required on entry.

Classes are 100% free and always will be! No membership is required and irregular training is totally acceptable as we understand the nature of the jobs this class is aimed at! 

We welcome all of the following for free training: Ex military, current/full time military, Prison service, Ambulance service, Gardai/Police services, Coast Guard, RNLI crews, all full time and retained fire service Airport Police and Fire
